libflann1.8 software package provides Fast Library for Approximate Nearest Neighbors - runtime, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libflann1.8
libflann1.8 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libflann1.8 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libflann1.8 *
You will get with libflann1.8 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
